Hello dear people who think I'm brilliant.

I know other people have thought of this before, but I most likely thought of it around the same time you did. The basic concept behind my ingenious idea is just take the 15 files per class for shell, copy them, rename them, and paste them back over whatever tier you want, and boom. shell.

Kick back and relax. No, don't because I'm not doing all the work on this beoches.

I will provide the most favored examples here. More than that, I shall not do.

OH, AND BEFORE YOU SCREW SOMETHING UP: I provide as accurate info as I can. I highly suggest backing up these files before fckin em' up. I am working all of these off a hunch, as the only mod I've done is for priest. But I am 100% sure if I know my file names this should all work. Unless I make a typo, in which case just PM me.

Ok, whenever I ask you to copy a set of 15 files, they come from your Knightonline/Item folder. They are in numerical order, so use your nuts.


For KARUS rogue CHITIN TO SHELL:
2_4602_10_0.dxt
2_4602_10_0.n3cpart
2_4602_10_0.n3cskin
2_4602_20_0.dxt
2_4602_20_0.n3cpart
2_4602_20_0.n3cskin
2_4602_30_0.dxt
2_4602_30_0.n3cpart
2_4602_30_0.n3cskin
2_4602_40_0.dxt
2_4602_40_0.n3cpart
2_4602_40_0.n3cskin
2_4602_50_0.dxt
2_4602_50_0.n3cpart
2_4602_50_0.n3cskin
Copy ALL of those files into a random folder ina random part where you can easily rename them. Simple. Now, just change EVERY file from 2_4602_xx_0, to 2_4502_xx_0. NOW: COPY THESE NEWLY NAMED FILES INTO your Items folder, just like where you got them. Yes, overwrite.

For ELMORAD rogue CHITIN TO SHELL (MALE):
All 15 files that begin with 2_4612 would be copied into a seperate folder, just as above, and renamed to 2_4512_xx_0. Just like above. Drop em in the Item folder. Overwrite.

For KARUS WARRIORS CHITIN TO SHELL:
Copy all 15 files that contain 2_0601_xx_0.dxt/n3cpart/n3cskin. Drop em in a different folder. Rename to 2_0501_xx_0. Drop em in the Item folder. Overwrite.

For ELMORAD BARBARIANS CHITIN TO SHELL:
Copy all 15 files that contain 2_0611. Drop into a different folder. Rename to 2_0511. Drop them back in item folder. Overwrite.

For ELMORAD MINI-WARRIORS CHITIN TO SHELL:
Copy all 15 files that start with 2_0612. Drop into a different folder. Rename to 2_0512. Drop them back in Item folder. Overwrite.

For KARUS PURI TUAREK PRIEST CHITIN TO SHELL:
Copy all 15 files that start with 2_8604. Drop them into a different folder. Rename them to 2_8504. Drop them back into the Item folder. Overwrite.

For KARUS BATTLE PRIEST FEMALE TIER1 TO SHELL
Copy all 15 files that start with 2_8604. Drop them into a different folder. Rename them to 2_8104. Drop them back into the Item folder. Overwrite.




I will add mages and priests. If I get bored, I'll do bp armor (karus female only, then maybe the other kinds). Then, if I feel happy, I will do fullplate.

Haha, not quite what it should look like, but it's quite interesting what you get when you piss around with the files in games.

Ass. You named them wrong. When the game can't find the file for something, it colors it white. Cause' white is the absence of color.
